Dear Friend’s in Christ –

Now that Lent, Holy Week, and Resurrection Sunday are past, will it have made any difference? Will the message of Jesus’ cross and resurrection have any impact in your life?On Sunday, our reading (John 21:1-14) encouraged us to be on the lookout for God’sabundance, appearances of the Resurrected Christ, and the assurance of new life with him.

Easter is not one day, but an entire season–seven weeks–of joy and new life! As we make our way through this season be on the lookout for the abundance of God’s blessings in your life. Watch for places where the Living Lord appears to you. Find ways to connect with the assurance of forgiveness and new life made available to you in Jesus. The invitation remains, the celebration of Easter is just as important as our observance of Lent. I pray that our ministry together will be central to your experience of the joy, new life, and the hope that comes through faith in our crucified and risen Savior, Jesus Christ.
