Dear Friends in Christ –

Yesterday, we celebrated the Rite of Confirmation for twelve young people. It is always a special day for them and for our families. But it is also an important day in the life of our congregation. In Holy Baptism, God claimed them as his own beloved children. He gave them the Holy Spirit and planted the seed of faith. Then he entrusted them to us, the body of Christ on earth. You play a small part in the harvest for the kingdom. Your prayers and encouragement of these young people and their families has an eternal impact to the glory of God and the spread of the good news of Jesus Christ, not only in their lives, but wherever they will go; they join us in bearing this same message gloriously.

Soli Deo Gloria (To God Alone be the Glory)!
