On November 22, 1988, Holy Cross Lutheran Church was organized as an official congregation. Thirty years later, we continue to gather for worship; grow in faith, love, and obedience to the Word of God; share our communal joys and sorrows; and serve our neighbors with the love of Jesus. This Sunday, we are celebrating our anniversary with festival services and our annual meeting. T-shirt orders have arrived. You are invited to wear them on Sunday as we commemorate our life together.
For thirty years, Holy Cross has been committed to the truth of God’s Word, the fellowship of faith, and the call to share the message of Jesus’ love in word and deed. We are firmly grounded in the Gospel and believe that “the word of the cross is the power of God.” Join us as we celebrate and commit ourselves to follow Jesus and bear witness to his life-giving love in all we say and do…as a congregation and as individuals and as families in Maple Lake and the surrounding communities.
