Gathered in Prayer

Martin Luther once said, “I have so much to do today, I think I will pray
two hours instead of one.” As February begins, the resolutions are
waning, the tasks are uncompleted, and the papers are piling up. Some of
us might hear Luther’s quote and be wowed by his procrastination. But in
all actuality, when we pray, we find inspiration and motivation from God’s
Spirit. We relinquish power and control to the One who clears the piles of
worry. Then we can know that our daily dealing and we ourselves are resting safely and securely in God’s hands.
Gathered in Prayer on Mondays at 11:00am and 6:00pm (except on
holidays, Mondays following a holiday weekend, or inclement weather). If
you have questions or would like to call in a prayer request, please call
Eleanor Wadman at 320-963-3475. Prayer request box is in the narthex.
