Welcome to Fall, which means that a new ministry year is up and running, and yesterday was a wonderful start! God gathered us together for two worship services. Some people had ice cream for breakfast. We had 3-year-olds and 93-year-olds having conversations across tables, sharing stories, and connecting those stories to their faith. There was potluck fellowship with wonderful food and conversation. We have folks already signing up for The Bethel Series. AND…We firmed up the Confirmation Catechists (six adults, four of them do not have children in the program) who are ready to share the story of God and the love of Jesus with our confirmation students. God has certainly blessed this beginning, and “I am sure of this, that he who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ!” (Philippians 1:6)
New Year Blessings,
