Dear Friends in Christ –

Yesterday was a wonderful day for our community of faith! At the first service, the choir asked if our heart was prepared for a king and we reflected on the phrase: “Let Jesus show.” We had an opportunity to reflect on the implications of the Bible’s teaching of incarnation during Bible class. At the second service, we celebrated the baptism of Maelynn Johnson and heard a wonderful Christmas program by our Children’s Faith Formation. We had a fantastic soup and bread luncheon as well. I know that this is a very busy time of year, but thank you for remembering the most important thing during this holy season!
“Thank you to everyone who made yesterday so special! To parents who helped children learn lines, Scripture verses, and song lyrics. Our Faith Formation team led by Jean Wagner; Jen Podolske and the choir, youth who served as Sunday Servants, and the countless individuals who stepped up to help with logistics on a very busy morning: moving chairs, washing spoons, etc. etc.
Blessings on your final Advent preparations!
Pastor Culynn
