Dear Friends in Christ –

Oliver took one look outside this morning and said, “Dad! The trees are beautiful!” He wasn’t wrong. I often think of Grandma Curtis when I see that a hoarfrost has come through; it was one of her favorite of nature’s beauty.
Underneath that gorgeous sheen of white lays the true colors of nature: brown and dreary in this winter season. Like us, our true self is wrapped in a cloak of Christ; our sin is covered by the marvelous beauty of the perfect Son of God who calls us by name and redeemed us by his precious blood. Unlike the frost, when the Son shines upon us the cover of his grace and mercy only beams brighter: never fading, never melting away. Thanks be to God for this indescribable gift!

Blessings upon your week,

Pastor Culynn
