Dear Friends in Christ –

What a fascinating week it has been. Just when we adjust to new developments, recommendations, and experiences…new realities sneak up on us. I’d venture to guess the same will be said for this week. Remember when you get anxious or overwhelmed to pray…or pick up the phone. During this time of self-isolation, it would be easy for us to hide away and fall into the pit of despair. We must be extremely intentional about our lives and the lives of those we love. Many of you received a pictorial directory…although we cannot share God’s peace in person, you might consider calling a fellow church member to fill the void and brighten someone else’s day.
We are called to share the love of Jesus with the Christian community and with those who are looking for comfort and peace in the midst of life’s storms. While the situation is unlike anything we’ve experienced, the opportunity is ripe to bear witness to the good news of our Savior, Jesus. May God give us the courage and boldness to tell others of his love in our own lives.

Peace to you all, I pray.
