Yesterday was an exciting day! We started our new Summer Series on the Sermon on the Mount. As we began, we did not hear mandates or demands. Instead, Jesus declared the blessings of the Kingdom over us. Also, during the services this summer, we are going to use Luther’s Small Catechism as part of our confession of faith. On Wednesday evenings, I encourage you to tune in for the online devotion on the Catechism topic. In addition to all this, we welcomed 55 people back inside the building as part of our Return-to-Church policy. A special thank you for your diligence in carrying out the policy; it only works if we all are mindful for the sake of each other. In addition to in-person worship, we still had 43 active devices during Online Service. As we continue to adjust, I continue to be inspired by God’s faithfulness and commitment to the spread of His Word. It was a very good morning. Wonderful things are on the horizon!
Blessings on your week!
