Dear Friends in Christ

Over the course of the next week, much of our programmatic ministry will draw to its close. The Bethel students are finishing their final exams. Confirmation meets one last time. Yes, “104 Scriptures” and the weekly services of God’s House will continue. But over the course of the last year, our church has navigated some unusual circumstances (like everyone else in the world)…to continue to share the good news of Jesus Christ in the lives of our members and throughout our community and country. I’m grateful for your patience and flexibility as we shot from the hip and kept things going (in-person and through Zoom). I’m grateful for the willingness of volunteers who have stepped up to assist in whatever ways possible. I’m grateful for the continued financial support to the church as well as your prayerful encouragement of one another and our staff. Most importantly, I am grateful that God’s Spirit has been dragging us along for the ride…because even when we’ve been fed up or energized, enthused or tired…the Spirit has made sure that the ministry continues! Eternity is at stake; we’re not slowing down!

Sustained by the Spirit, Pastor Culynn
