Yesterday, we heard how the Jerusalem Council affirmed that salvation is by grace alone through faith alone in Jesus Christ alone, according to the Scriptures alone to the glory of God alone. Although the Council made this profound decision, the controversy continued to rattle the first century church. There was conflict and struggle for the integrity of the Gospel and the soul of the church. Yet, God’s Spirit preserved the church safe and secure. The Book of Galatians is all about this and will be the focus of our readings for the remaining weeks of the season of Easter. In a culture that continues to be divided and straying from Gospel-centered convictions, we look forward to growing together into Christ, our head!
Blessings on your week,
