The blessings of God are all around us. The love of our families, the beauty of creation in the warm summer sun, meaningful work; the list is abundant. Similar blessings could be enumerated for our church family: The love of God shared with us in Jesus, the beauty of our property and grounds, the purpose of our mission to share the good news. The lists go on!
This Sunday, July 16, immediately following our Summer Service, we will be having an important congregational meeting. The Church Council, wanting to be faithful stewards of your resources, is asking for your permission to use money that we already have saved to make a significant payment toward our mortgage before an interest rate increase is assessed. We ask because of our the constitutional requirement. We must have a quorum. We don’t anticipate a lengthy meeting, but we will answer any questions. It would be really helpful if you would attend.
