What an incredible weekend of Christian fellowship! We had an excellent turnout for our picnic. The kids beat the adults for the first time in our annual kickball game too! Sunday’s services were beautiful and moving. It was quite special to be welcomed back into your midst, but also to hear the forgiveness of sins declared in the absolution and in the Sacrament by Pastor John. We also gave thanks for Pastor John’s ministry to us in these past months and sent him and Sally with our blessing.
Many things are gearing up in the coming weeks: We will celebrate the Rite of Confirmation on Sunday. Faith Formation for all ages will begin their regularly scheduled programming. Monday Night Bible Study begins on September 16. Youth4Him and Confirmation Orientation begin on Wednesday, September 18. Lots of fun and faith-filled opportunities are prepared for you and for your family. Won’t you come and be a part of it?
