We celebrated Pentecost yesterday! We set the sanctuary on fire (not literally) and had a Holy Spirit hymn sing. Pentecost is important because it solidifies God’s ongoing presence with his people and strengthens us for service. The gift of the Holy Spirit confirms the co-mission we have with Christ, continuing to share the gospel with those we encounter each and every day.
I pray that our church and our ministry continues to encourage and challenge you as you live in the promises of God and the power of the Spirit.
Come, Holy Spirit!
