We believe that God’s Word is the source and norm for our faith and life. God’s Word is the written Word of Holy Scripture, the spoken Word proclaimed in preaching and study, and the Living Word, Jesus Christ, who is revealed to us.
Children & Youth
Our educational ministry for children in preschool through 5th grade allows us a weekly encounter with God’s Word through song and story, art, and activities. A group of 6-7-8-9th grade students engage the Scriptures through fun activities, conversation, and begin developing habits for the Christian life. Youth4Him meets on Sunday mornings during our education hour at 9:15am during the school year.
Based on John 1:12, Jesus is received and believed as our high school youth group becomes the children of God through regular supper fellowship, community, Bible study, and service. The112 meets on Wednesdays at 6:45pm during the school year.
During the first full week of August, we host a fantastic multi-generational Vacation Bible School! Children get the time to sing, create, learn, and play while youth and caring adults support the ministry and learn alongside our children. Holy Cross is fully alive during VBS! Adults have several opportunities to grow in faith through study of Scripture and theology. There are two opportunities for pastor-led study each week: Sunday mornings at 9:15am during the school year and at 8:30am in the summer. Monday Night Bible Study meets at 7:00pm during the school year.

Coming Soon for Summer – The Good News of Jesus Christ according to Mark: In the fifteen weeks of summer, you are invited to read, study, and follow along in the gripping and fascinating story of Jesus. Mark’s urgency and riveting account captivates mind and heart, and he draws us into the story of salvation.
Monday Night Theme: 7:00 p.m. Our fall study is on PRAYER, based on Norwegian Pastor Ole Hallesby’s classic book by the same title.
