On Sunday, we celebrated the Rite of Confirmation for 12 young adults who take full responsibility for their life of faith. It was a wonderful celebration and we continue to hold these new adult Christians in our prayers. Also, this week, Meg, the kids, and I are in Omaha, NE. We are attending the LCMC Annual Gathering. We are here with our sisters and brothers throughout the association. Every year, LCMC gets together for worship, Bible study, learning, and business. This year we are considering partnerships with the Evangelical Free Lutheran Church of Norway and a church planting movement in Brazil. Both of these events right next to each other reminds us that the church is alive, it is growing in strength, and that God continues to be faithful.
It is good to be the church together!
