Dear Friend’s in Christ-

Yesterday, we read the entire book of Jonah, a story full of godly conviction and grace. Jonah decided to put his personal preferences before his holy calling. God’s wrath swallowed him in the billows of the sea and the belly of the fish. God gets his way, even through our little diversions, so that forgiveness, life, and salvation find a way in the world and in the lives of real people. Friends, this is the most important thing for us to remember. I know pandemic life is different. I get that we have very real and serious differences. God remains the same: The Father provides and protect, The Son redeems and saves, The Holy Spirit calls and keeps us in faith. Don’t lose sight of all that God has done and continues to do. The kingdom comes without our prayer and without our action, but we pray that it would come among us and God’s will would be done.

Be of good courage! Christ has conquered!  Pastor Culynn
