Most people don’t like church business. I recognize that some of you want to slip in and slip out and not get too involved in the inner-workings of the church. However, I would encourage you to take a closer look at the annual report. Every year, I am humbled and overjoyed to read and reflect on all that God is doing among and through us. Especially in the last year, it could have been a story of woe. But again and again, God sustains and equips us for the calling to which we have been called. I think you will be presently surprised to find that this annual report is not so much business as it is thanksgiving and praise. And I do hope that you’ll participate in the elections, approval of the budget, and join us for the Council Update THIS Sunday and our Annual Meeting on November 14.
