I am going back to school!! Thanks to Saint Paul Lutheran Seminary and Dr. Jim Nestingen, I am able to audit the course. Don’t worry…it’s online and it’s only one hour a week + reading; but I have gone back to school to review The Lutheran Confessional Writings. While these documents are foundational, they are far from elementary. These writings define the tenets of Lutheran theology and help us to clearly speak in a Lutheran way. Before the pandemic, I was looking for an academic outlet. Now two years later, I really needed something that would require getting back into a rhythm of study and renew my pastoral heart. This will certainly hone my skills as a theologian, teacher, and preacher; and also strengthen my work among you for the sake of your faith and mine.
