Dear Friends in Christ –

On the eve of this Thanksgiving Day, we pause to give thanks for the extravagant provisions which God has set before us. Warm greetings and extended fellowship and love will be shared between family and friends. Tables will be adorned with the abundance of the earth’s produce. The opportunity to gather freely as granted to us by our constitutional rights and defended by our U.S. military personnel. Whether the gathering and/or the buffet is large or small; even if there are empty chairs at your table this year, indeed we have so very much to be thankful for as God’s people and as citizens of these United States.
At the same time, last Sunday’s annual meeting proved to be an excellent display of God’s faithfulness to us all as a community of faith. As your pastor, it is a wonderful privilege to witness the continued stewardship of God’s gifts through you, our members and friends at Holy Cross Church. The generosity you show in financial offerings, volunteer hours, and varied gifts of service have made our congregation incredibly healthy. You ensure that the Gospel of Jesus Christ is shared in word and action through a variety of ministries inside and outside of our building. May God continue to shower us with his mercy and grace so that our work for the Kingdom may continue.

Thanksgiving Blessings to you all,
Pastor Culynn
