| If you ever think you aren’t good enough to be called a child of God, spend some time learning about Abraham. He was just a normal guy, who got some things right some of the time, and made plenty of mistakes as well. He didn’t do anything to cause God to choose him; God simply chose him. Nothing he did ever swayed God’s decision to be his God. None of his mistakes ever caused God to take away the blessings he had promised. None of his bad behavior ever caused God to take away his love. God just kept on loving him through it all. Not only that, but God also proved that nothing is too great for our God. When all hope of a child seemed lost, God gave life where there was none! When your hope is lost, when you are feeling tired and defeated, remember what God did for Abraham and Sarah and trust that he can and will do the same for you. Go in peace. Be a blessing!
