This is God’s House, and you are members of his family. As members of this
household of faith, we’ve all got to pitch in and do our part. To ensure that
the services of God’s House can take place, run smoothly, and everyone
receives the Word and the Sacraments, all of that requires active
participation. Just as you join in the action and rituals of the service, so also
there are tasks that must be done.
- Greeter: Extend welcome and hospitality to worship-goers
- Usher: Hand out bulletins/hymnals, receive offering, direct
communion service - Lector: Read the Scriptures publicly
- Communion Assistant: Alongside pastor, serve communion elements
during the service. - Communion Clean-Up: Clean the dishes and reset communion
elements for future services. - Livestream Assistant: Broadcast the service on YouTube.
- Counters: Two trained individuals who count the offerings received
each week. - Refreshments: Provide and serve the morning refreshments at
9:00am.
Now you know the what and the why. The question is when: When will you
sign up and serve your fellow sisters and brothers? We thank you in
