Mission of the Month

Our November project is Operation Christmas Child, sponsored by the
Samaritan’s Purse organization. Fill up a shoebox with gifts for children
around the world (toys, books, clothes, hygiene items, school supplies, etc.)
and be sure to include the $10.00 for shipping costs. This can also be done
by scanning the QR code on the tags provided at church. You can even track
your box to see where it ends up! Boxes, labels, coloring sheets, and more
information are on the table in the narthex. Bring your filled box(es) to Holy
Cross by Sunday, November 12. We will also be collecting a Noisy Offering
on November 12 to support this important program.
A huge thank you to all who contributed to the Coats for Kids project in
October. We collected $531.63 and were able to use that to purchase brand
new coats for kids in need! We also brought in seven huge bags of coats
and winter gear. Outstanding!
