We decided at our last meeting to skip a couple months and see what
February looks like. With the holidays, winter weather, and the COVID-19
Pandemic, it is probably wise to all hunker down for a while and stay safe.
So, with more time to read on our hands, we decided to pick 2 books!
- “A New Day Rising”, Lauraine Snelling—a sequel to our last book, “The
Untamed Land” We were so amazed with those Norwegian immigrant
families and now have to know what happens next! - “Atlas Shrugged”, Ayn Rand—a classic which I know nothing about but
always wanted to read.
Watch for a notice about our next Book Club meeting, probably the second
Tuesday in February.
We pray we all stay safe, stay healthy and be thankful for lots of good books
to keep us occupied. Especially the greatest ‘Good Book’ of all.
