On Sunday, we received an in-person visit from Juan and Anne Fernandez, our missionaries to Bolivia. Like us, they have lived through a global pandemic. Juan was very sick in February but has recovered. Due to the difficult restrictions in the countries of Latin America, they also relied on Zoom meetings across five countries. Through these partnerships, they have developed a regular schedule for prayer meetings and an online seminary for lay leaders and evangelists/pastors. Although it has been a difficult year, God’s Spirit is still moving! The kingdom of God is present at Holy Cross, through LCMC and Augustana District. The kingdom of God is also alive in Bolivia and India and throughout the world. What a joy to be a part of it!
