I spent Monday-Tuesday in the Cities with fellow Augustana District and LCMC pastors thinking about law and gospel and learning to live in the tension of this our whole lives long. The beautiful reality of faith is the same for pastors and laity. Sometimes, you go for training and continuing education. But also, it has been a real gift to hear the unconditional promise proclaimed to me, as a fellow sinner-saint, learning to trust in Jesus along the winding way of life.
